FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT

FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT:
Galatians 5:22-23 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law." What produces THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT? If there is a Fruit of the Spirit; then there should be a seed of the spirit. Right?

"And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good." Genesis 1:12.

So in simple terms, every fruit is produced by a seed after its kind. Now the seed of THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT is produced by THE SEED OF THE SPIRIT, which is THE WORD OF GOD.

"Being born again, NOT OF CORRUPTIBLE SEED, BUT OF INCORRUPTIBLE, BYTHE WORD OF God, which liveth and abideth for ever." 1 Peter 1: 23

"Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child(seed) of the Holy Ghost" Matthew 1:18.

The point I am establishing is that, The Word of God is the SEED OF THE SPIRIT needed to produce the FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT. Remember what Mary was carrying was THE WORD (JESUS). TRUE? "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."

So the SEED needed to produce the FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT is the Word of God. Watch this: In Genesis 1:12, we are made to understand that "...tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind..." I was a little confused why He used "his"(his kind) for a seed; but the Holy Spirit said "In him was life" John 1:14.

So if a seed produces Fruit after his kind; then the WORD(SEED OF THE SPIRIT) will produce the WORD(FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT) in our lives.

This is the revelation: Since the Word is producing after its Kind, it means the word in us will produce or replicate the IMAGE OF GOD IN US. Mind you we lost that image through Adam and the Word (JESUS) will restore that image to us. Word(seed) bearing fruit after his kind.

If I wrote Galatians 5:22-23, I will write it this way love( joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.) THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT is just the characteristics of God-LOVE.
