Dream and Act

He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap.

Ecclesiastes 11:4

Do you have any dreams in your heart? Are you waiting for the right time to live your dreams? Well, you better get up and work towards your dream, because the right time is now.

We all did it; when we were growing up as kids, we could be heard sharing our dreams amongst ourselves. One says I will be a doctor, another says I will be a Lawyer; another says as for me I will become a Pilot and I will fly high into the Sky. Others spoke about becoming a Pastor, Air Hostess, Judge, President, Nurse, Accountant, Teacher and you can add to the list. These were the dreams that were sitting in our hearts as kids. The question is what happened to these dream? Well some people went on to achieve their specific dreams, others changed their dreams and some  developed new dreams.

If we are to do a head count right now, I am confident all of us have new dreams sitting in our hearts. These are not dreams of kids; these are dreams of men and women who want to do something with their lives - dreams of a business, dreams of touching lives positively, dreams of being a better husband or wife, dreams of being the best in a chosen career and dreams of making it big- becoming wealthy and rich. These are great dreams, but the danger is that they will remain dreams until they are acted on. Start that business NOW, start that course NOW, start that project NOW, apply for that position NOW and go after your dreams NOW.

If we will all be honest with ourselves, there is a part of us that yearns for more. You feel it, You sense it. Don’t close up; that is your dream to go after it.  You might shrug this off as mere talk; that is entirely up to you. but remember no one will fulfill your dreams for you. You are responsible for seeing your dream to fruition.

I want to encourage you, whatever dream you have was planted in your heart by God  ” Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations” Jeremiah 1: 5.  Start taking the first step towards achieving your dream. There is no right time for your dreams; the right time is now.

Wake up! There is no time. The time for your dream is now.
